Taking advantage of Blueberry season

Smoothie.

I know, it looks like I do not know anything else but smoothies, however, when summer comes, I must be honest - that is kind of my main food. Now as we have fresh blueberries in the market I could not help but blend some. This one is perfect for breakfast.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup of Blueberries
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup of Almond milk
  • 1-2 medjool dates (depends on how sweet you prefer)
  • 2 tbs of linseeds/flaxseeds
  • Few ice cubes (because it does taste better cold)

Optional:

  • 2 tbs of toasted sunflower seeds for topping

METHOD:

Everything goes to blender except for one medjool date - that one I leave for the end, in case I need to add more sweetness to it. Last touch - toast some sunflower seed for topping and sprinkle over. YUM
